Red Eléctrica de España, in collaboration with the Government of Extremadura, is carrying out a reforestation project in the Monfragüe National Park (Cáceres), whose aim is to explore the possibility of recovering Mediterranean forests under controlled conditions. To do this, the Company will plant Holm oaks and Cork oaks in terrain and areas that have been pre-prepared and that are protected in order to keep out deer and wild boar.
