Credit ratings

The strong strategic position of Red Eléctrica, its solid financial profile and adequate liquidity allow the Company to maintain a rating level above that awarded to Spain.

On 4th July 2017, the rating agency Standard & Poor’s has issued a new report maintaining the company’s rating level and its outlook. Red Eléctrica Corporación, S.A. and its subsidiary Red Eléctrica de España, S.A.U. maintain their long term ratings of ‘A-’ and short term ratings of ‘A-2’ with a stable outlook.

On 18th September 2017, the rating agency Fitch Ratings has issued a new report maintaining the company’s rating level at ‘A’ with stable outlook. Red Eléctrica Corporación, S.A. and its subsidiary Red Eléctrica de España, S.A.U. maintain their long term ratings of ‘A’ and short term ratings of ‘F1’ with a stable outlook.
